The hotel has the following facilities:

embroidery
 a selection of art and craft work on sale in reception, made either by local people or by Paraguayan indigenous from other areas. Of course we sell the items made by our neighbours in the Taller de Hermandad sewing cooperative – craft embroidered with appliqué, typical of this village. The Mission
 a library with a good range of books and pamphlets on the Jesuit Reductions, in Spanish, English, Portuguese and Italian, covering the history, art and geography of the missions. There is material for adults and for children, both of a scholarly nature and also in the form of beautiful picture books. There is also material to explore on CDs, DVDs and videos, including The Mission film in both the original English and the superbly dubbed Spanish version. A selection of good English novels, some with a South American theme, is also available.

Chapel
 a simple garden chapel constructed from wood by local craftsmen, in the style of the first period of Guaraní-Jesuit architecture, with wooden walls and a thatched roof. You can still find houses like this in some regions of Paraguay, especially in the Chaco. It is a place of quiet where guests can reflect, or pray with animators of the local Christian communities if they like. Each night we put on a short sequence of Passion music, with a gentle light on the crucifix, carved by an indigenous artist.

a garden with a leafy bower, where you can relax in hammocks, in the shade of the vine.

a Paraguayan folk dance group

“Split” air conditioning and heating in all bedrooms, as well as ceiling fans

our own 100-litre water tank to see us by if the main water supply is cut off

a laundry service is available at very reasonable additional cost.

The hotel can also supply guides who lead tours of the village, the museum and other nearby Reductions, and taxi drivers to take you on the tours.
